Brazeau River Expedition 4 day option

Service Description

Experience one of the last truly remote mountain rivers with in half a days drive of Calgary or Edmonton. A challenging river with three distinct phases of travel. Continuous white water that ends with a spectacular canyon and slick rock water falls. Wildlife viewing opportunities include, Bears, Moose, Deer, Elk and Beaver. This is an amazing adventure with consistent white water and complex braided channels. There are three distinct phases of travel. Days one and two we will see up to Class 3 white water. the nature of these rapids include pushy corners and some ledge features. Day three with be almost entirely comprised of braids and log jams. There is still some speed to the current here so it has a technical aspect to it. Day four will include a 14 km paddle across Brazeau Reservoir featuring beautiful sandstone cliffs and narrow passages. **There is an option to use raft support that will give the advantage of using a motor to cross the reservoir and gives the option of bringing children or less capable paddlers**

Cancelation Policy

To cancel or reschedule please contact us at least 1 week in advance. Cancelations 2 weeks in advance will receive full refund. Cancellations before one week 1 week deadline but after the two week cut off will incur a 20% admin fee. Last minute cancelations and no shows will have full booking fee retained. Exceptions will be made for special circumstances. We reserve to right to cancel for unsafe weather and river conditions with less than 24hrs of notice. Full refund granted for cancelations due to weather or restrictions, BECAUSE WE ARE AWESOME!
